A dynamic leader, Tito is an effective advocate who has a demonstrated ability to exceed expectations in a fast-paced, high-volume working environment. He is passionate about the empowerment of survivors of crime. More specifically, the entirety of his career has been devoted to the advancement of child protection. He began his legal career as an Assistant City Solicitor for the Philadelphia Department of Human Services, Pennsylvania's largest child welfare agency. In that capacity, he represented the agency in hundreds of bench trials at every stage of the dependency court process, including complex child abuse trials, often involving the expert testimony of child abuse pediatricians, forensic pathologists, forensic psychologists, as well as the testimony of trained child abuse investigators and law enforcement professionals. One of his cases involving an unexplained injury to an infant, in which the Department was successful at trial, was appealed to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. The Superior Court of Pennsylvania affirmed the lower court's decision and published its opinion, making the case binding authority on the issue of unexplained injuries in the context of the Child Protective Services Law.

After his time with the Philadelphia Department of Human Services, Tito transitioned to the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office. In this role, he spent approximately 5 months in the Juvenile Unit, where he handled primarily juvenile sexual assault trials and staffed a specialized courtroom devoted to preliminary hearings and trials with adult offenders charged with crimes involving child victims and witnesses. After his time in the Juvenile Unit, Tito was promoted to the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit, in which he handles felony jury and waiver trials. His cases involve the sexual and physical abuse of children (including homicides), sexual assault of adult survivors, and domestic violence (including non-fatal shootings and homicides).

Tito has also lectured at both the undergraduate and graduate levels on issues regarding race, gender, and sexuality. More specifically, he's served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Temple University in the College of Public Health and has guest lectured at Villanova University School of Law, West Chester University, Penn State Dickinson School of Law, St. Joseph's University, and Lebanon Valley College.
