Anapol Weiss is pleased to announce that Paola Pearson has been named a partner in the firm. Pearson has been with the firm since 2014, and has quickly established herself as a leading voice in Class Action and Mass Tort Litigation.
As an Associate, Pearson was appointed to the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee (PEC) of the Multi-District Litigation (MDL) for injured consumers alleging products liability claims involving Elmiron, a prescription drug used to treat interstitial cystitis and painful bladder syndrome. She was one of seven attorneys selected from across the country to serve on the executive committee leading the litigation against the parties responsible for the harm caused by the drug.
She has received recognition for her experience, skill, and professional achievements. In 2022, she was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
“We could not be more pleased to add Paola as a Partner at Anapol Weiss. Our firm and our clients are fortunate to have her,” said equity shareholder Sol Weiss. “We look forward to her being an integral part of the Firm’s future.”
Pearson earned her Juris Doctorate at the University of Villanova School of Law and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Hispanic Bar Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association, and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. Pearson is also a member of the J. Willard O’Brien Inn of Court of Villanova University Law School, and currently serves on the Leadership Council of Community Legal Services of Philadelphia.
