Shareholder Sol H. Weiss participated at the annual three-day 2L business seminar at the Charles Widger Villanova School of Law. He discussed the business side of a contingency fee-based personal injury practice. Sol has been an active member of the Board of Consulters for Villanova Law for 30 years, and presently serves as the Chair.
Sol expressed how he is continuously impressed by each new crop of future lawyers he meets. “Each year I find the students engaged, and willing to ask intelligent questions about this area of practice,” he said. Sol was joined by attorneys Marc Simon and David Caputo.
Sol Weiss concentrates his practice in complex civil litigation, including class actions and pharmaceutical cases, medical and other professional malpractice, securities litigation, and products liability matters. Sol has litigated numerous high-profile lawsuits that have changed the law at the national level, including the National Football League Players’ Concussion Injury Litigation, in which he served as Co-Lead Counsel. In Pennsylvania, Sol was among Lead Class Counsel in the Kids for Cash civil rights litigation.
