The New York Times: Complaints Filed by Firms, Including Anapol Weiss, Against Alexander Brothers Following Federal Indictment

Following a federal indictment in December 2024 charging the Alexander Brothers – Oren, Tal, and Alon – with sex trafficking and assault, there have been a growing number of civil lawsuits filed against the real estate firm, including those spearheaded by Anapol Weiss. The New York Times recently reported on the surge in legal actions seeking justice for survivors of these horrific alleged crimes.

The brothers, formerly prominent figures in luxury real estate, are accused of orchestrating a scheme to drug and sexually assault numerous women over nearly two decades. The lawsuits detail allegations of the brothers exploiting their status to lure victims with promises of luxury experiences, only to subject them to sexual violence.

On February 25, 2025, Anapol Weiss attorneys Alexandra Walsh and Kristen Gibbons Feden filed lawsuits in the Supreme Court of New York on behalf of two survivors, both identified as Jane Doe 1. One plaintiff alleges misconduct by Alon, Oren, and Tal Alexander, while the other alleges misconduct by Tal Alexander alone.

Kristen Feden, who in 2024 secured over $1 billion in verdict awards for 75 sexual assault victims of former New York pediatrician Stuart Copperman, told The New York Times reporter that it was important for the Alexander Brothers’ victims to continue to file civil lawsuits even as their criminal case proceeds through federal court.

“These lawsuits make it clear: survivors will not be silenced, and the truth will not be buried,” Feden said. “Civil lawsuits are critical because they give survivors what the criminal system cannot — direct restitution for the harm they’ve endured.”

The Alexander Brother’s federal criminal trial is set to begin in New York in January 2026.
